It’s always sad to see a business within the industry close their doors. Which is the case as Keystone Homebrew says goodbye to their location in Bethlehem. The closure should not be met with complete sadness. As seen in their post below, they do have some big changes coming.
After 15 years of serving the Lehigh Valley, they regret to announce the pending closure of their Bethlehem location. However, as you’ll see below, many new and exciting changes are coming to the brand.
The Bethlehem location will be open until March 24th. During this period they will continue to stock the store with essential brewing and winemaking supplies and will offer discounts on various products. If you are in the market for manufacturing equipment they will also be selling their forklift, refrigerators, gondola shelving units and other fixtures.
Their flagship Montgomeryville location will still be operational with no impact. They will be merging their customer databases as part of the transition which means all credits, deposits, and gift certificates issued in Bethlehem will be transferred to their Montgomeryville store (and can be applied to online orders).
New Changes
As we said above, changes will be coming. Soon they will be launching a fully revamped, mobile-friendly website with improved search functionality and smooth shopping experience. If Bethlehem locals cannot make the drive to Montgomeryville you can count on exceptionally fast, accurate, and personalized service from their online shipping team.
If you would like an easier way to pick up online orders their friends at Bonn Place Brewing have offered to serve as a spot for customers to pick up Keystone web orders on a weekly basis. once our Bethlehem location closes. Details are still being confirmed, but their intent is to make your purchases available for pickup on the same day each week.
They are also excited to announce that they have become an official vendor of the full line of spectacular products from Spike Brewing! They are one of only a handful of homebrew stores in the country to have that privilege.
As they have said, “this is a time of change in the industry, and we recognize the need to adapt so we can continue to offer the great service and selection that have always been our hallmark”
While we are sad to see the homebrew store close, we are also excited to see the growth they are experiencing.
