Locust Lane Releases Dancing Diamonds Pale Ale In Support of Penn State’s THON

Locust Lane Craft Brewery has released their second edition of Dancing Diamonds, a Pale Ale brewed to aid in the fight against pediatric cancer.

Back for its second year, Locust Lane Craft Brewery’s Dancing Diamonds Pale Ale is brewed for a cause near and dear to the brewery owner’s roots. A portion of every 4-pack sale will be donated to Penn State’s Dance MaraTHON.

Locust Lane Craft Brewery is owned and operated by three longtime friends and fraternity brothers, with deep roots in the Penn State community. Owners, Tom Arnold, Jason Cartwright, and Bryan Brockson, met and lived together at the Delta Upsilon fraternity house on Locust Lane in State College. There, they not only formed a lifelong friendship but also developed a strong commitment to supporting the community. Cartwright was THON’s 1996 overall chairperson, and Brockson a member of the overall Committee.

“With THON being held virtually this year, we are starting the fundraising process earlier and are also releasing more 4-packs this year than last to help offset any decline in fundraising due to that.” says co-owner, Bryan Brockson.

This year’s Dancing Diamonds label features a blue and orange color scheme to match the THON 2021 theme “Rise & Unify”. A large yellow ribbon is displayed on the front to represent pediatric cancer awareness. Inside the can, you’ll find a completely new beer from last year’s charity brew. A hazy pale made to satisfy both the craft beer enthusiast and novice alike. A crushable ale with strong notes of citrus and stone fruit from the combination of three different hops used (Lemondrop, Lotus, and Chinook).

4-packs are available to purchase now online or in Locust Lane’s taproom in Malvern, PA. The brewery offers curbside service and local delivery as well as statewide shipping throughout Pennsylvania through their online store, The Express Lane.
