Mastic Trail Overcomes Staffing Issues, Has Been Reopened To The Public

Back in the beginning of September, we shared the news of how Mastic Trail Brewing announced it would close until further notice, citing staffing issues as the main reason for this closure.

The temporary closure was shortlived, however, as they would announce their reopening at the end of September 2022, after having overcome those staffing issues.

Mastic Trail Brewing opened in July 2020 at 1044 Saxonburg Blvd in Glenshaw, just north of Sharpsburg, and is known as Pittsburgh’s “Caribbean Brewpub”. They opened in a 7,000 sq/ft building and brew on a 10 BBL brewhouse. The brewpub is known for offering a Caribbean-inspired menu, with items such as jerk chicken and bacalao fritters.

To give you the true beach feeling, Mastic Trail has a clear epoxy floor with sand underneath, as well as some ocean floors in another room with waves and coral reefs. Their main bar has sand and seashells, while the back of the building looks like a dock.
