Back in early January 2022, we brought you the news that McCall Collective Brewing would be expanding its brand, and opening a second taproom in the Lehigh Valley.
The time has come for them to open, and as of Saturday, May 28th at 12 PM, you’ll be able to go in for both great craft beer and food. This second space is located at 7743 Hamilton Blvd in Breinigsville and used to be an old Post Office.
“The Taphouse”, as it has been named, is about 1,500 sq/ft and will feature seating for about 30 people between low-top tables and bar stools, and have standing room for another 25 or so. Unlike McCall’s original location on Susquehanna Street, they will not have any servers, and will not be taking reservations. The experience here will be more of a traditional tasting room.
There will be 10 McCall beers featured on tap, 4 packs to-go, as well as local wines and cocktails, to go along with a brand new BBQ food menu. The food will be largely produced out of a commercial smoker and served to order. Customers can expect things like Brisket Nachos, Pulled Pork Platters, Smoked Wings, and BBQ Ribs. Other smaller items will also be available such as charcuterie, bavarian pretzels, and other shareable dishes.
They’ve hired two amazing people to run the food operations including a Pitmaster, Kyle Mai, and a Kitchen Manager, Mike Richmond. McCall’s current Kitchen Manager, Anthony Yannuzzi, will continue to oversee all food operations for both locations. Sarah Peters, who has been with McCall Collective from Day 1, will be running the Taphouse’s day-to-day operations and will continue to also provide support for all of their branding.
At this time, McCall will be opening without outdoor seating, but their goal is to quickly work towards a great outdoor setup for the summer ahead of them!
