Yelp recently picked the best brewery in the 25 largest US cities, based on a number of factors.
New Ridge Brewing out of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania was chosen as the best of Philadelphia.
Per Yelp, they have based their pick on a number of things.
First, they identified the largest cities in the US by population.
Methodology: This is an all-time list of the top breweries in the 25 largest US cities, according to Yelp. We identified businesses in the brewery category, then ranked those spots using a number of factors including the total volume and ratings of reviews. When available, all businesses on this list have a passing health score as of June 13, 2023. – Yelp
New Ridge Brewing is based in the Roxborough neighborhood of Philadelphia, at 6168 Ridge Avenue.
The brewery opened in the middle of the pandemic with to-go sales only and has made a name for itself in the few years of operation. They operate a 7bbl brewhouse, and have a full kitchen with a delicious menu!
