PINE2PINK Partners With Moss Mill Brewing And Others To Benefit Local Breast Cancer Patients

The Pine2Pink Foundation 501(c)(3), an experience-based, community-driven non-profit dedicated to local breast cancer patients, has forged strategic alliances with LavAzza Professional, Moss Mill Brewing and The Tea Can Company in an effort to inspire giving across all the cities, towns and communities where the non-profit has a presence during the month of October; New Hope, Carversville, Peddler’s Village, Doylestown, Perkasie and the Thompson Organization’s campus of car dealerships.

In an effort to stimulate individual donations, the Foundation has partnered with LaVazza Professional. The company has committed to giving any person who donates $100 or more
to Pine2Pink during the month of October a professional coffee brewer (Flavia Creation 150
Brewer) and a six-month supply of coffee. This deal is in association with an existing
partnership between LavAzza and Sharing Excess.

Director of Strategic Initiatives at LavAzza Professional, Frank Larusso states, “With my
mom being a two-time breast cancer survivor and recipient of Pine2Pink’s network of
support, I focused on an already existing donation program with Sharing Excess for
healthcare to Pine2Pink since the healthcare and wellbeing of breast cancer patients
is so important.

Moss Mill Brewing, a family-run brewery in Huntingdon Valley, created a Pine2Pink
pale ale with strawberries, cherries, and vanilla beans, double-dry hopped with
Cashmere. The fruit gives this special beer a wonderful aroma and fruity after taste.
Cashmere hops bring smooth herbal and melon notes, while the vanilla works to knit
the flavors together. This drinkable pale ale is only 4.7%, making it quite
approachable.

The beer will be sold by the case across various beer stores across Bucks County
and by the keg in a host of bars and restaurants. A complete list of locations can be
found at either MossMillBrewing.com or Pine2pink.org.

We wanted to work with Pine2Pink because they do such a great job at the local
level making an impact in the lives of breast cancer patients,” shares Co-owner of
Moss Mill Brewing Evann Rodgers, “having close ties to the medical community, I’ve
seen first-hand the financial strain that a lot of these patients face when undergoing
treatment and recovery. The relief the Pine2Pink’s efforts provide is immeasurable.
The Tea Can Company, run by entrepreneur Donna McCafferty, has packaged four Pine2Pink specialty teas, each having a distinct connection to the non-profit’s purpose and mission.

“Josephine”, an Asian Cherry Blossom tea, is named after Pine2Pink Founder, Keith
Fenimore’s Grandmother, who passed from Breast Cancer. “Locals Helping Locals” is a Vanilla Chai Black Tea – “Triumph” paying tribute to metastatic breast cancer patients, is a pineapple turmeric ginger green tea and “Pinklicious” is a hibiscus tea. All can be purchased online at theteacancompany.com and at select retailers; Evolution Candy in Doylestown and Rise and Grind coffee shop in Perkasie.

Working with an established brand in LavAzza Professional, is a massive legitimizer for our
young non-profit and a real tangible asset in our ability to reward individual donors who
generously donation to Pine2Pink, says Keith Fenimore Founder and Executive Director of
Pine2Pink, “and I am beyond thrilled to be able to get the non-profits name on products
through our partnerships with Moss Mill Brewing and The Tea Can Company, there is value
in the name recognition, these deals provide, generating awareness and ethos, but the real
win is the Foundation’s ability to raise money by participating in a share of all proceeds.”
Pine2Pink is a month-long program supported by entire communities with a core mission to
raise money for local breast cancer patients. In 2020 Pine2Pink has taken over and
transformed Doylestown, New Hope, Carversville, Perkasie, as well as the shopping and
dining destination Peddler’s Village and Car Dealerships owned by The Thompson
Organization. This year the Foundation has 33 Sponsors and over 50 partnerships with local businesses and retailers across Bucks County.

Beneficiaries of this year’s efforts are LOCAL breast cancer patients at Fox Chase Cancer
Center in Buckingham, The Doylestown Cancer Institute, and Grand View Hospital’s breast
cancer programs.
