You probably saw us recently post about how Lancaster area breweries are collaborating on beer for Camp Fire relief. And now Pittsburgh is banding together to be a part of the nation wide initiative!
In case you missed it; Sierra Nevada recently announced a nation wide brewery collaboration to support California fire relief. The plan is to brew Resilience Butte County Proud IPA and donate 100% of sales to Camp Fire relief. In addition, they also asked every brewery in America to brew Resilience and do the same. But that’s not all. Sierra Nevada is working with malt and hop suppliers to provide raw ingredient donations to all participating breweries free of charge!
And breweries in Pittsburgh are joining forces to help support this great cause! The following breweries will all be getting together to collaborate on this beer and donate 100% of the sales to California fire relief:
• East End Brewing
• 11th Hour
• Allegheny City
• Helicon
• Leaning cask
• North Country
• Recon
• Reclamation
• War Streets
• Butler Brew Works
As of this writing the brew date is set for Tuesday, December 4th, however that is pending weather. The breweries will join together and be brewed at the East End Larimer location. Once finished, the beer will be sold on draft at each breweries locations, sending proceeds to the cause. Follow us as we continue to update with more information.
