Reader’s Digest recently released a list of “The Best Craft Beer In Every State” based on a number of factors.
Nugget Nectar by Tröegs Independent Brewing (Hershey), was chosen as the best craft beer in Pennsylvania.
Per Reader’s Digest, they based their picks on a number of factors: “Using a combination of sales figures, tasting notes, and rave reviews, we’ve identified the best craft beer in every state.”
From RD: While the name may not sound the most appealing, we promise that this American Amber from Tröegs is a delicious brew. Nugget Nectar is brewed with fresh Nugget hops at the start of each year and is only available from January through March, making it a special springtime treat. Its flavors of pine, mango, and papaya pair nicely with pork belly or anything citrusy.
Tröegs Independent Brewing is based out of Hershey, located at 200 Hersheypark Drive.
The brewery was started by the Trogner Brothers back in 1997. Since then, the brewery has seen massive growth. They most recently completed a year-long 15,000 sq/ft expansion project, increasing production and adding new pack types.
