We brought you the news about the first brewery closing due to the pandemic, and unfortunately, they were not the only ones. River Bend Hop Farm and Brewery have announced they are closing, in large part, due to COVID restrictions.

Located at 1800 Lower Bailey Road in Newport, PA, River Bend Hop Farm and Brewery was Perry county’s first and oldest brewery.

As you can see from the post above, the brewery does not appear to be open this weekend for any remaining beer to be sold.
