Rubber Soul Brewing Planning New Lancaster Restaurant & Taproom For Late Fall

Rubber Soul Brewing is expanding into Lancaster with a new brewpub planned for the Champion Forge Center at 398 Harrisburg Ave., Suite 700. The brewery is targeting a late fall 2026 opening, depending on construction and renovation timelines.

We caught up with Rubber Soul General Manager Conner Smith to learn more about the new location and what customers can expect.

The Lancaster location will seat about 150 guests, feature a bar with around 20 seats, and offer a full restaurant and beverage menu. This location will not brew beer on-site, but guests can enjoy Rubber Soul’s beers alongside a full menu of cocktails, wine, and other beverages.

The food menu will focus on American comfort food with global influences and local Pennsylvania ingredients. Familiar, approachable dishes will be complemented by French, Southern, Creole, and Asian elements, allowing the restaurant to offer more than traditional pub food.

The bar will feature Rubber Soul beer on tap, along with cans and other packaged options. Guests can also expect craft cocktails made with premium spirits, wine, local ready-to-drink beverages, and thoughtful nonalcoholic options.

Three Ways to Experience Rubber Soul

The Lancaster opening will give Rubber Soul another place to serve customers beyond its existing Hummelstown locations.

The brewery’s main location in Hummelstown at 21 N. Hanover Street features its brewery and taproom, with the taproom primarily used as an event space. Just down the street at 136 S Hanover Street, Rubber Soul also operates a full-service restaurant serving its beer alongside liquor, wine, and other drinks.

Separating brewing production from its full-service restaurants allows Rubber Soul to maintain a dedicated brewing operation while bringing its beer, food, and hospitality experience to additional communities.

Rubber Soul has also operated the Warehouse District beer garden in Lancaster this season, which is scheduled to run through October 31. The new Champion Forge location is next door to the beer garden.

Rubber Soul recently celebrated its sixth anniversary, and the Lancaster restaurant represents another step forward for the brewery as it continues to grow its presence in the area.

Renovations at the restaurant are ongoing, and an exact opening date has not yet been announced. Rubber Soul is currently targeting a late fall 2026 opening and plans to share additional details as construction progresses.
