It’s very common for breweries to introduce canned beer well after they open their doors. And you’d be surprised to find out that many of your favorite breweries don’t even own their own canning line; instead a third party company cans their beer for them.
Why? Because canning lines can take up a lot of space and are quite pricey. So when a brewery introduces a canning line it is a big step towards the growth of their brewery.
Which is why if you are a fan of Stolen Sun Brewing in Exton, PA you’re in luck; they recently introduced their very own canning operations!
Fun fact about their canning line? They have actually had it in their possession since opening their doors. They have strategically waited to get it up and running and now is the time!
The first canning run includes the following beers:
Uncle Jon’s WestCoast IPA – 7.4%: Their staple series, and number 8 in the series. This version, Idaho 7 is the true ‘star’ along with friends Centennial, Chinook & Cascade. Double Dry Hopped with Idaho 7. Enjoy the dankness! Keeping it real.
New Exton IPA – 7.4%: This unfiltered IPA is brimming with Citra, Mosaic, and Idaho 7 hops which give it rich tropical fruit flavors. Pineapple, guava, grapefruit, and orange flavors dominate this brew.
Sunny Wheat – 5.3%: This wheat brew incorporates generous amounts of Florida Orange Blossom honey sourced from an orchard in Wauchula Florida. This sweet, delicious, nectar will be accompanied by lemondrop and Mandarina hops to round out this brew with more citrus notes.
Baby Juices NEIPA – 4.9%: Loaded with Citra, Mosaic, Lemon Drop, Mandarina Bavaria and Hallertau Callista to create a juice bomb which will produce waves of mandarin orange, honeydew melon, guava, and juicy mango as it erupts in your mouth.
The cans are currently available to go in the breweries cooler in Exton.
