Mark your calendars and grab your tickets now for The Remix, a reimagined beer tasting experience sponsored by 4 Local Foundation and hosted by Blueprint Brewing Company in Harleysville, PA!
This Covid-cautious event will have you and your party relaxing at a socially-distanced table in an open-sided tent. Your table will be visited by representatives from each of the 16 local, craft breweries in attendance, who will introduce themselves and their brewery’s featured beverage. A guest seated at your table will serve as your “bartender,” will retrieve each brewery’s beverage from a cooler located at your table, crack open each can, and pour for your party. While you enjoy your beverage, the brewery representative will provide information and answer questions. Like what you’re tasting? Great! At the end of the event, you can purchase your favorites to go.
The Remix will be held on Saturday, September 18th, from 11:30a until 3:30p, rain or shine. Seating starts at 11:00a at Blueprint Brewing Company (1571 Gehman Rd, Harleysville, PA 19438). A variety of ticket options are available through Eventbrite. Select a public table for two or four guests and be seated with another party (no more than eight guests per table), or select a private table for your party of four, six, or eight. Your purchase includes one can per table (two cans for tables of 8) from each of the participating craft brewers, a souvenir tasting glass for each member of your party, and a small bites appetizer sampler for your table from Menagerie Foods. Additional food from Menagerie will also be available for purchase. See the website for a complete list of featured brewers. Guests will be entertained by live music performed by Hypnotic Eye Band.
4 Local Foundation organizes events that promote local businesses and raise funds and awareness for local charitable nonprofit organizations. Eighty percent of proceeds from The Remix will benefit Laurel House in Norristown, an organization that advocates for and empowers those impacted by domestic violence. Laurel House provides crisis intervention, safe haven, supportive programs, and resources. They advance social change through preventative education, community training, and collaboration to foster a coordinated response to domestic abuse.
