Gobletstock Returns To Broken Goblet For It’s 7th Year; July 17th In Bensalem

Broken Goblet presents GobletStock 7, their 7th Anniversary Bash and annual celebration of peace, hops, and music. This year, for obvious reasons, is a big milestone year. Not because 7 years is some special event, but because the brewery (like so many others) survived through the pandemic and is prepared to celebrate with all of you!

Join them on Saturday, July 17th starting at 3:00 PM at their brewery in Bensalem for an awesome day of celebration with over 40+ curated beers, food trucks, and of course, tons of live music. (You may have heard they have a fairly impressive music venue).

This year’s theme, besides the on-the-nose reference to the Phoenix Rising captured so perfectly by Mark Salmon and Dark Water Films, is tribute. A tribute to their wonderful patrons, new and old, for keeping the brewery afloat through COVID, their staff, who continue to show their loyalty and perseverance, and their families, who have endured so much alongside them.

The brewery has amassed an amazing lineup of Tribute bands, including:

    • Super Unknown Acoustic – a fantastic and highly personal tribute to Sound Garden
    • Unglued (members of Bridge Beat Duo) – a high-energy tribute to Stone Temple Pilots
    • Love Killed Kurt (members of The Elsiums) – as good a Nirvana tribute as you will ever see or hear
    • Flannel – a grungy 90’s rock and roll revival who will be playing pretty much everything in between those three bands
    • And finally…. the set what was to happen wayyyy back in 2016, the supergroup of supergroups featuring faces you likely already know – Righteous, Reese, Mark, Ice Boy Dan, Jay G and Mike Lock…. RAGE AGAINST THE KEG WASHING MACHINE. One set, one night, full Rage.

The party (which will be rain or shine) is free to attend with all beers being $5. Guests are also encouraged to bring their own chairs. Irregular Members are eligible to enter as early as 2:00 PM.

The beer list, as always, is a heavily curated list that the brew crew puts together over the course of a year, including barrel-aged blends that have aged, one-offs that are brewed specifically for this event, and several surprises. This year, the Anniversary Ale is something that was kept very much a secret, even to the other owners, until the labels had to be ordered…. this year they roll out a SEPAIPA; a South-eastern PA IPA. What began as a simple hazy IPA was quickly put into a fermentation gauntlet of three VERY different strains, and then meticulously hopped with Citra, Cashmere and Sabro.
