Troegs Brewing (Hershey, PA) is tapping their 400th beer from their Scratch Series. Exclusively pouring at the brewery on Thursday, January 16th.

Per Troegs, the “Scratch Beer Series allows us to share our creative process by focusing on small batch brews. These draft-only beers are released every Thursday in the Tasting Room, and we strive to learn from each batch brewed.”

Since launching this series, it has gained in popularity, with many fans looking forward to enjoying the latest test batch that would feature many local and also exotic ingredients. Starting on a 6 gallon pot, Troegs now brews each batch on a custom small-batch brew house to continue the series. A full list of the entire scratch beer series can be found here.

Many of the scratch beers have been received so well that Troegs made them into seasonal regulars. One of the most recent of those to gain multi-state distribution was “Field Study” which originally was known as Scratch #327.

Scratch #400 will start pouring exclusively at Troegs in Hershey on Thursday, January 16th starting at 11:00 AM.
