Tröegs Independent Brewing recently announced the launch of its Perpetual Giving campaign, a partnership with Feeding Pennsylvania to raise funding and awareness for local food pantries. The new endeavor encourages Tröegs fans to “drink great beer and do great things” as part of the
Hershey, PA-based brewery’s Aletruism program.
Now through December 31, the independent, family-owned brewery will donate a portion of proceeds from sales of Perpetual IPA – the best-selling craft beer in Pennsylvania – to Feeding Pennsylvania. “The holiday season serves as a reminder of the real issue of food insecurity,” says Tröegs co-founding brother Chris Trogner. “We’re proud to partner with our amazing wholesalers to help Feeding Pennsylvania and local food pantries in our home state.”
Feeding Pennsylvania is dedicated to securing food and other resources to reduce hunger and food insecurity across the commonwealth. Its network of food banks spans across all 67 counties and serves more than 1.2 million people annually.
“We applaud Tröegs for prioritizing food insecurity in Pennsylvania,” said Julie Bancroft, CEO, Feeding Pennsylvania. “The Perpetual Giving campaign exemplifies the ‘neighbors helping neighbors’ philosophy. It will bolster resources for Feeding Pennsylvania’s food banks and their partner pantries and agencies, working to end hunger in communities statewide.”
