Tröegs Independent Brewing is getting ready to release 24-packs of its Pennsylvania Lager during the first week of November.
The Hershey-based brewery is bringing the lager to shelves in 24-packs or 12oz cans, or “suitcases,” a less common format in craft beer that gives fans a convenient option for stocking up ahead of the fall and winter seasons.
The brewery says Pennsylvania Lager is a natural fit for the format, whether you’re heading out on a camping or hunting trip, gathering around the fire pit, or watching football at home.

Pennsylvania Lager has been a year-round offering since 2025 and has built a strong following among beer drinkers across the state. According to Tröegs, it has quickly become the second-largest beer in the brewery’s portfolio, neck and neck with Graffiti Highway IPA.
The 5% ABV American lager was developed through Tröegs’ Scratch Lab and showcases the brewery’s Pennsylvania roots. Its growing popularity has helped make it a major part of the lineup, and this new package gives fans another way to enjoy it. Brewed with 100% malted barley, PA Lager features a crisp, easy-drinking profile. The beer also highlights the brewery’s Pennsylvania roots through its use of a Pennsylvania heritage yeast strain.

Already available statewide in multiple formats (draft, 6-packs of 12oz bottles, 6-packs of 16oz cans, and 12-packs of 16oz cans), the new 12-ounce can format gives drinkers another way to pick up the lager to enjoy as we head into winter.
The 24-packs will be available for a limited time throughout the fall and winter seasons.
