“Ugly Ale” Collab From Axemann Brewery & Big Uglies To Help Fight Pediatric Cancer

Axemann Brewery has teamed up with the iconic Big Uglies to brew a brand-new beer for a good cause.

“Ugly Ale” is now available on draft and in cans at the Bellefonte-based brewery while supplies last.

A percentage of the proceeds will go to the Four Diamonds Fund, which works with pediatric cancer patients at Hershey Hospital. “Four Diamonds’ mission is to conquer childhood cancer by assisting children and their families through superior care, comprehensive support, and innovative research.”

The Uglies are a well-known band of brothers – David, John, and Paul Duda – who began donning their ugly masks in 1994. Now 30 years later, they are using their fandom along with Axemann’s distribution network to help fund support to conquer childhood cancer through the Four Diamonds.

Ugly Ale is an easy-drinking, 5.7% ABV American Pale Ale brewed with signature Cascade Hops to give it that classic Grapefruit flavor and Aroma. The beer was finished with Columbus and Centennial Hops, giving it a resinous citrusy punch and slightly dank aroma.
