From winning a gold medal at the World Beer Cup to being named in a Men’s Journal list, von C Brewing has had a busy last few months.
The Norristown-based brewery is now celebrating its second anniversary with plenty of new beers, live music, events, and food trucks.
Friday 6/2
Beers Releasing
• vOmnus Pils (5.2%) – Brewed in collaboration with their friends at Omnus Brewing Company, this German Pils-inspired hoppy lager features multiple large kettle additions of Simcoe hops.
• Berliner Weisse (3.7%) – This historic sour style of beer can be enjoyed on its own or with the addition of one of two traditional syrups, woodruff (think green gummy bears), or raspberry. (This has returned from their first anniversary with new flavors this year)
• Rauch, Flag, and Eagle (4.8%) – A Rauch, or smoked, Helles is back for its second year. This year von C increased the beechwood smoked malt for a more balanced flavor. (This fan favorite has also returned from their first anniversary)
Food truck: Lobster Rolls and More will be serving 3-8pm
Music: Ant and Ang Duo will be playing 6-9pm
SATURDAY 6/3
Cousins Maine Lobster serving 12-8pm
Gardyn Jazz Orchestra – a group comprised of grammy award winning and nominated artists will be playing live. (outside if weather corporates again)
SUNDAY 6/4:
This is the biggest day of celebration for the brewery!
Planned for the day:
• 4 food trucks: BBQ, sandwiches, pizza, and taquitos
• 2 dessert vendors: Kindness Kookies and Malvern Road Marshmallows
• Music: School of Rock Downingtown 1-3pm & Live Grateful Dead Cover Band: Four Lean Hounds 4-7pm
• Caricature artist will be on-site most of the day
