Voodoo Brewing Scranton is closing its doors permanently on Wednesday, September 30.

They shared the following announcement on Facebook:

It’s with heavy hearts we have to announce that Voodoo Brewing Scranton will be closing its doors forever on Wednesday Sept. 30th.

Our hours of operation for the last weekend will be as follows:

Friday: Noon to 8.
Saturday: Noon to 8.
Sunday: 11 am to 3 pm.
Monday: Closed.
Tuesday: Closed.
Wednesday: 4 pm to 9 pm.

Please come in an say goodbye to our wonderful staff.

Wednesday will be the final open mic and it will be an absolute party. Voodoo staff will all be in attendence for hugs, high fives and the cheersing of many, many beers.

Please note, that we are operating as a skeleton crew, so treat us with some love and patience.

Please be sure to use any gift cards you may have, as these are location based and will not be redeemable at any other Voodoo location.

This meant a whole lot to all of us and we hope it meant a lot to all of you as well.

About Voodoo Brewing Scranton

The Scranton location opened in December 2022 at 820 S. Washington Ave. after being announced earlier that year. The location was independently owned and operated by local franchise owners, rather than being a corporate-owned Voodoo location.

After opening in December 2022, Voodoo Scranton became part of the growing network of independently owned Voodoo locations across Pennsylvania.

At the time of its opening, Voodoo was continuing a major expansion throughout the state, with Scranton becoming one of several locations operating under the Voodoo name but with local ownership.
