A fly fishing shop might not be the first place you’d expect to find a taproom, but that’s exactly what’s coming to Mt. Holly Springs.
Stick City Beer is partnering with Precision Fly Fishing to bring fresh beer to the shop, including a newly built taproom inside Precision’s Mount Holly Springs location.
The new space has been under construction over the past few months and will serve as a taproom for special events, gatherings, and other occasions at the fly shop.
The partnership kicks off this weekend at the annual Precision Fly Fishing Festival on September 25 and 26. The new taproom will officially celebrate its grand opening on Saturday, September 26, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Beer will be available on draft and in cans to go, giving festival attendees a chance to check out the new space while enjoying fresh Stick City beer.
To celebrate the partnership, Stick City and Precision Fly Fishing teamed up on Articulated, a 4.8% ABV New Zealand Pilsner.
The beer is brewed with North American and German pilsner malt, Kohatu and Wakatu hops from New Zealand, and even received a gentle dry hop, something Stick City says is rare for its pilsners.
Articulated will be among the many beers available at the new taproom during the Precision Fly Fishing Festival.
