The Pittsburgh Invades Philly Beer Fest takes place March 2nd, 2019 at Workhorse Brewing and is proudly sponsored by Kunda Beverage; King of Prussia’s premier craft beer distributor, specializing in hard-to-find American craft beers as well as imported selections from around the globe.
As we have said many times, what we love about hosting these events are the way in which we can put a spotlight on the breweries in Pennsylvania that are involved. Much like when we facilitated a cross state beer collab. Ultimately it is our goal for our guests to have a unique experience and not walk away thinking “oh look, another beer fest.”
It is in that spirit that we are excited for our next announcement during the 2019 Pittsburgh Invades Philly beer fest. Our host brewery, Workhorse Brewing Company, will be hosting their very first can release on the day of the event!
On Saturday, March 2nd you will be the first to have access to Oatmeal Stout, Workhorse Brewing’s inaugural release!
Oatmeal Stout: This beer offers silky, roasted, dark chocolate tasting notes which envelop this low-alcohol stout. Finishing smooth with minimal bitterness. 5.3% ABV.
During the festival, attendees can purchase two 4-packs. After the festival when Workhorse opens to the public, guests can purchase four 4-packs. The beer will also be on draft if you’d like to purchase a taste before you buy the cans. Fun fact; it won’t matter when you buy the beer, Workhorse has said that if you purchase early they will make sure to save the cans for you so you can enjoy the event hands free.
We are excited to make this announcement and continue to offer exclusivity that these events are known for. Our goal is to highlight the beer and breweries being offered and we hope this allows us to continue on that mission.
