Conclusion Of Lehigh Valley Beer
The first official city beer week of 2019 in Pennsylvania is here! From February 22nd – 24th Lehigh Valley beer will be the main focus in a celebration of the Valley’s love of craft beer. A week full of plans are coming to an end, now it’s time to go out and celebrate accordingly!
Pups ‘N Pints
Interested in learning more about local pet products & services available to you in the Philadelphia & surrounding areas? Wissahickon Brewing Company (Philadelphia) will be hosting its very first event of its kind, inviting area pet owners to peruse a wide array of vendors ranging from dog walkers to artisan treat makers! Stop by between 2:30-5:30pm on Sunday, February 24th for their first annual “Pups ‘n Pints” event & enjoy an afternoon of barks & brews.
Pliny the Younger Day Fundraiser
On Saturday, February 23 beginning at Noon, Monk’s Cafe (Philadelphia) will host their annual Pliny the Younger Day Fundraiser to benefit Alex’s Lemonade Stand, a nonprofit that they have supported for over 10 years. You are invited to join them to taste this year’s Pliny the Younger, plus a mind-bending draft list including bucket list beers from the world’s greatest breweries.
CENTRAL PA
BBQ Feast
Come, join Spring Gate Vineyard (Harrisburg) for their December BBQ Feast during their Glitter Wine Basg! There will be a great selection of food, music, wine, craft beer, craft cider and an all-around fun time! As with all of their events, there is no ticket and everything is à la carte. The event takes place Saturday, February 23rd.
PA Stout Showcase
Join Collusion Tap Works (York) Saturday, February 23rd for the very first Pennsylvania stout showcase. They’re bringing in some of their favorite Pennsylvania brewed stouts – something PA breweries have done well for a long time! Think everything from Imperial Stouts to Chocolate Stouts and Barrel Aged Stouts! They’ll have a few of their stouts on tap, a variety from other PA brewers and hopefully a collaborative brew or two!
South County Tap Takeover
It’s Steak Night AND South County Brewing Co. Tap Takeover Night Saturday, February 23rd at Alley Oops Sports Bar & Grill at Suburban Bowlerama! Including a meet the brewer session. Event starts at 3 and going until its gone!
WESTERN PA
Cajun Cook-Off
As part of Northside Mardi Gras – bring your favorite Cajun dish – po boy, gumbo, beignets, jambalaya, etc. set up by 2:00 pm on Sunday, February 24th at Allegheny City Brewing. Like their past cook-offs, everyone here at the time tries the fares and votes on favorite. Prize for winner(s) at 5 pm. No entry fee.
Southern Tier Tap Takeover
Stop by U Pick 6 (Erie) this Friday, February 22nd to taste some of Southern Tiers new beers!! They will be featuring Nu Juice, Swipe Light, Lakeshore Fog IPA, Orange Grove, and Nu Skool.
Big sIPA Can Release
On Saturday, February 23rd Grist House hosts their next can release at 2:00 pm at their brewery. Big sIPA is a sour IPA brewed with lactose, Madagascar vanilla beans, raspberries, strawberries, cocoa nibs, and chamomile.
