Yards Brewing (Philadelphia, PA) has released its first new beer in three years: Summer Crush. Summer Crush is a “juicy, mellow, and refreshing” 5% ABV citrus wheat beer, and has been released as of writing this article. Twelve ounce cans are expected to hit shelves by June.
Just in time for the warm spring/summer months, this beer is made with orange and lime zest, and is a great crushable new offering from Yards.
“Summer Crush is the beer you bring down the shore or to your friend’s backyard barbecue. It’s refreshing, smooth, and citrusy. It’s a crowd pleaser,” says Yards Founder, Brewmaster and President, Tom Kehoe.
He adds, “We try not to take ourselves too seriously here at Yards, and this beer is easy-going and fun, both in the way it tastes and the way it looks. We just want everybody to bring Summer Crush wherever they’re having a good time this Summer.”
Summer Crush will start hitting taps and shelves now and will be available throughout Yards’ distribution footprint (Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware and Maryland).
Also, you will start to see Summer Crush in Yards’ brand new Summer Mix variety pack, a 12-pack of 12-ounce bottles featuring the best beers for the warmer months—Philadelphia Pale Ale, Yards Signature IPA, Summer Crush, and PYNK.
