We are excited to share that we are teaming with twelve Pennsylvania breweries, all owned by alumni of Penn State University, to release a new beer called “Buckeye Tears” in honor of the rivalry with fellow Big 10 school the Ohio State Buckeyes.
The beer is a 4.09% Cold IPA features the rivalry of a big game between Pennsylvania and Ohio on Saturday, October 21st. It will release officially to the public on Saturday, October 14th.
The network of Penn State alumni is vast and proud. We wanted a way to highlight all they have gone on to do since graduating from the university and starting small businesses across PA. Obviously no harm is meant, we just think ‘Buckeye Tears’ is the perfect name for a beer that will honor Penn State heading to the National Championship in 2023! No one in Ohio wants to see that.
The beer will be available on tap and in cans at the participating breweries in early October. A map of where the beer will be available can be found at the link below.
