It would appear as if Tired Hands is continuing to silently close down operations. As we shared yesterday, the brewery recently (quietly) shut down Ardmore Brewing Company. And now we are being told of another silent exit as their Kennett Square location recently closed.
Much like Ardmore Brewing, the current license for the Kennett Square taproom has expired as of December 2025. Also, in similar fashion, Tired Hands has no public mention of the closure.

Unlike Ardmore Brewing, who’s google page reads as “Temporarily Closed” and, as we learned, is open for private events only, this closing seems to be more permanent. The listing for their Kennett Square space shows the facility as “Permanently Closed”. A decision that must have been made recently as the brewery posted from their Kennett Square Instagram page as early as 3 weeks ago.

Closing businesses without informing the public is not uncommon in the craft beer space. Most notably Rogue Ales, with one of the largest footprints in craft beer, shutdown completely with no word to the public.
As of this writing, Tired Hands still promotes three locations on their website; their Fermentaria (Ardmore, PA) St. Oners (Philadelphia) and their pop up Biergarten in Mt. Airy (which says will re-open in Spring 2026). Although the Kennett Square location still has representation on their website.
Although it is worth noting that the license of the St. Oners location is also listed as expired as of December 2025 as well with their last post on Facebook back in September of 2025. But no immediate indication of that business being closed.

Without a public comment from Tired Hands there is no way to know if these closures are a result of the trouble the brand found themselves in years ago or the recent downturn in craft beer sales nationally. Continue to follow as more information is made available.
