As you may recall, in 2019 2SP Brewing and WaWa joined together on the release of Winter Reserve coffee stout. Now the two brands are back at it in 2020.
The idea originally was born when the team at 2SP Brewing was enjoying some Wawa coffee on a brew day. Shortly thereafter Michael Contreras, head of sales and marketing at 2SP, contacted WaWa with their idea on a whim. After a few conversations and meetings, the beer was brought to life!
And in 2020 they stepped it up a bit…
This year the brewery took their beloved Winter Reserve Stout and added some holiday spices inspired by their customer favorite Holiday Blend coffee. 2020 will also see the return of “Reserve Reserve” Bourbon Barrel Aged Imperial Stout PLUS a new Reserve Reserve variant, aged in Jamaican Rum Barrels.
The beers will be exclusively available at the WaWa locations in Chadds Ford and Middletown Township as well as the 2SP Brewery in Aston, PA. The beer will officially release at all locations on Friday, November 20th at 8:00 AM.
But that isn’t all! Join the brewery on Friday, November 20th for a LIVE Firkin Tapping of the beer. The tapping will be held virtually and include a tasting with the brewers and Q&A with their coffee experts who came together to craft these three amazing brews. You can RSVP for the event here.
