2023 Three Rivers Beer Week To Feature Release of Pittsburgh Brewery Guide

The Pittsburgh Brewers Guild (PBG) plans to release the newest version of its popular Pittsburgh Brewery Guide during this year’s Three Rivers Beer Week (TRBW), which will be held April 12-16.

The Pittsburgh Brewery Guide (Version 3) will feature more than 40 Allegheny County breweries, and beer fans will be able to earn more than $70 in prizes by visiting those breweries. Prizes include:

  • A black and gold “Grab a beer in the ‘Burgh” koozie (10 breweries visited)
  • A Pittsburgh Brewers Guild beer glass (20 breweries visited)
  • A “30 Breweries Visited” insulated refillable howler (30 breweries visited)
  • A special “I Topped 40” party for all those who visit 40 or more breweries

The Guide, which will also feature new “beer trails” to accommodate the breadth of breweries across the county, will be available at most PBG member breweries while supplies last. The cost is $10 per Guide. Here are some other things beer fans should know about TRBW:

Launch of Friends of Pittsburgh Beer Program

Local beer fans will soon have the opportunity to earn rewards by joining the select Friends of Pittsburgh Beer program (FoPB). FoPB, which will launch during Three Rivers Beer Week, will cost $99 to join. Beer fans can sign up beginning April 12. Members will receive this and more:

  • An exclusive “Friend of Pittsburgh Beer” gift
  • A copy of the Pittsburgh Brewery Guide (version 3)

Website and Interactive TRBW Events Calendar

Plenty of events are being planned for various PBG member breweries, including a six-brewery beer crawl through Lawrenceville, a midweek breakfast showcasing local food and imperial ales, an Ed & Day In the Burgh watch party and more.
