Join us in congratulating Allegheny City Brewing who celebrates its 5th anniversary this Saturday, October 2nd. The celebration will take place starting at 12:00 noon at the brewery and taproom on Foreland Street in Pittsburgh.
The story of Allegheny City Brewing starts like many great local small businesses. Al Grasso, Amy and Matt Yurkovich (all Pittsburgh natives) had been living in Colorado and fell in love with the local craft beer scene. Drawn to the tight-knit community that comes with owning a small business, they set out for their own venture. In 2013 the trio relocated back to Pittsburgh and on September 28, 2016, officially opened the doors to Allegheny City Brewing.
Now 5 years later they are excited to celebrate with you. Starting at 12:00 on Saturday the Pittsburgh brewery will be releasing the following three beers to the public:
“Quintessence TIPA” (collab w Dancing Gnome available in cans and draft)
10% Triple IPA overloaded with Galaxy, Sultana, Lotus, Vic Secret, and Citra.
Anniversary batch of “Oceanic IPA” (available in cans and draft)
6.6% Hazy IPA with Citra, Galaxy and Motueka hops
“First Street Barrel-Aged Stout” (available in 22 oz bomber bottles)
Their popular First Street Stout (11.2%) aged in Woodford Reserve Bourbon barrels
Along with the triple beer release, the brewery will also have a full day of live entertainment planned. From 1:00 – 4:00 PM Sierra Sellers & Band will play in the ACB Beer Garten. And from 6:00 – 8:00 PM Cam Chambers & Band will take center stage.
Food will be provided by Just Rolld Up Food Truck PLUS a very special Allegheny City Brewing celebration cookie table!
