Another Week, Another Anheuser-Busch Copyright Infringement Against Yuengling

It didn’t take long into the new year for Anheuser-Busch to once again challenge the intellectual property owned by Yuengling Brewing.

If you remember, we last wrote about how Yuengling accused Bud Light of trade infringement back at the end of December, when they used Yuenglings famous tagline (in a now-deleted tweet) “Get ready for the next generation of beer”.

In the below tweet, Yuengling replied to Anheuser-Busch’s tweet about a “brand new logo”.

“Fresh look, same company you know and love. We’re excited to unveil our updated logo and visual identity! It captures our optimism and reflects the golden hue of beer and barley – respecting our heritage while looking to the future. A future filled with more cheers!”, Anheuser-Busch posted.

Yuengling tweeted a calm response: “Cool new Eagle. We’re flattered. Yuengling, America’s Oldest Brewery, established 1829.”

As of publishing, Anheuser-Busch still hasn’t replied to Yuengling or removed the tweet (like the last time). We can only imagine that Yuengling is serious, as they sent the St. Louis-based beer giant Anheuser Busch a cease-and-desist letter back in December, for that round of copyright infringement.
