Artillery Brewing is opening a second location called “The Arsenal” in Drexel Hill at 4221 Fern Blvd. Their ETA to open is mid-fall 2022.
The new location is in a 4,200 sq/ft former Citizens Bank building (yes the old vault is still there!), with seating for about 115. The building dates back to 1948, and Artillery will occupy the first floor, while a banquet facility is on the second.
This will be a taproom only, with all brewing still being done at Artillery’s original location “The Barracks” at 333 Granite Alley in West Chester. There will be 12 taps at the new bar, seating around 12 people, and they’ll also serve PA wine and spirits.
For food, a full service kitchen is also being built. And Artillery is currently working through designing a menu. Additional seating will be available through the 3 big garage doors, out onto their covered outdoor beer garden.
Beer fans can currently visit the brewery at their Drexel Hill location at their pop-up beer tent everyday Saturday. They will have food trucks and live music each Saturday until the new spot opens.
