Attic Brewing Company, in the Germantown neighborhood of Philadelphia, released its first Black is Beautiful collaboration beer back in July 2020. It was a 6.5% Oatmeal Stout collaboration beer with over 700 breweries worldwide and was spearheaded by Weathered Souls Brewing Co. in San Antonio, TX.
In celebration of Black History Month, Attic Brewing Co. is now releasing the Black is Beautiful Vol. II global collaboration beer!
$1 from every pint sold will be donated to the National Black Brewers Association to promote the Black brewing community and increase the number of African Americans in the brewing industry. The beer will be available on tap and in 16oz cans to go starting Thursday, February 1st.
Black is Beautiful Vol. II is a 5% Hazy IPA brewed with HBC 586, Citra, and Strata hops. It’s bursting with bright, tropical flavors including mango and citrus with subtle floral and herbal notes.
This new beer will be available on tap and in 16oz cans to-go. Attic also has a limited run of Black is Beautiful Vol. II glasses that will be available starting Thursday! $5 for the glass, or $10 for the glass + fill.
