Barstool Fund Provides Donation To Tattered Flag Brewery And Still Works

You may (or may not) have heard of the Barstool Fund. For those not familiar, it is a charity started by Barstool Sports that aims to support struggling small businesses during the global pandemic. Businesses submit videos as to why they are asking for support, and the organization picks which businesses to fund. As of this writing, the fund has raised over 26 million dollars and has supported 138 businesses to date.

One of those businesses that were supported is Pennsylvania’s own Tattered Flag Brewery And Still Works. The Central PA brewery has become well known for its craft beer all across Pennsylvania. They even went as far as converting their distillery into a hand sanitizer producer at the start of the pandemic.

Over the weekend brewery owner, Pat Devlin received a facetime call from Barstool owner Dave Portnoy who shared the good news. Which you can view below.

We recently spoke with Pat regarding being chosen by the Barstool Fund, he had the following to say about the moment:

“We are extremely grateful for Barstool and Penn Gaming for stepping up and helping small businesses during an extremely difficult time. This help keeps people employed and our business running. It’s great to see individuals and businesses stepping up to help the small guys while we face these unprecedented hardships”
