Beer Events Happening This Weekend: Feb. 23rd – 25th

It’s finally the weekend! Regardless of what part of the keystone state you live in, we’ve got your weekend plans covered. Here are some of the best beer related events coming up this weekend.

EASTERN PA

Conclusion Of Lehigh Valley Beer Week

The state of Pennsylvania’s first city beer week is coming to an end. And we have a whole weekend to celebrate! Lehigh Valley Beer Week still has some great beer centric events going on all weekend long. Don’t miss the fun!

Release Of “Philly Special”

Stable 12 did it again! In honor of the historic Eagles Super Bowl run the team at Stable 12 in Phoenixville are releasing “Philly Special.” This 5.1% IPA is named in honor of the Nick Foles lead play that put a statement on the Eagles Super Bowl win. The cans will be released on Friday, Feb. 23rd at the Stable 12 Brewery in Phoenixville at 12:00 noon.

Pliny the Younger Fundraiser 2018

On Sunday, Feb. 25, Pliny the Younger returns to Monk’s Cafe for their biggest fundraiser of the year! 100% of the purchase price of 26 draft beers including Russian River Brewing Co. Pliny the Younger are donated to Alex’s Lemonade Stand, to support their hard work fighting children’s cancers! They tap Younger at Noon, along with 25 other magnificent rare brews from around the world.

Moss Mill Brewing Grand Opening

On Saturday, Feb. 24th the PA Beer market is about to get that much better with the opening of Moss Mill Brewing in Huntingdon Valley! Come out for a fantastic day and try all of the brand new beers for yourself. Free tours of the new brewery will be given out all day with food trucks slinging delicious meals, live music entertaining the crowd and plenty of Olympics on the big screen.


CENTRAL PA

Bacon Feast At Spring Gate Vineyard

Bacon, Bacon, and MORE BACON! It’s time for Spring Gate Vineyard’s February Bacon Feast during their Bubbly Bash weekend! Don’t miss this feast where you can experience luscious bacon dishes accompanied by their delicious wine, beer, and cider options. There is no ticket for entrance, and everything is a la carte. Event starts 12:00 noon on Saturday, Feb. 24th.

Make It Funky

Make It Funky returns to Iron Hill Brewery in Lancaster with another fun event that will feature 6 sour beers and the release of this year’s Funkaster Sour Ale! Plus a King of the Hill Rewards Club Exclusive: Giveaways and exclusive Jerobaum pours for members. Event takes place 12:00 noon on Saturday, Feb. 24th.

Cornhole Tournament at Mudhook Brewing

Do you like cornhole? Mudhook Brewing does too. So on Sunday, Feb. 25th come play and win some prizes. Two ceramic, flip-top growlers (not available for sale) will be awarded to the winning team. Runners up will get $50 in gift cards. Admission is $20 a team.

 


WESTERN PA

Stouts & Stones CBS Tapping

On Saturday, Feb. 24th join The Korner Pub in Pittsburgh as they tap their keg of Founders CBS starting at 4:20 to go along with the Olympic Curling Gold Medal matches. Event goes until the last sip is drank! (or until midnight, whichever comes first)

Bodyweight Workout At GearHouse

Check out GearHouse’s newest Saturday morning fitness class! The Bodyweight Workout with Amy Shelly class will meet the 2nd and 4th Saturdays of every month. Class cost is $15 and includes a $5 beer ticket! please bring your own mat. They’ll also have fresh squeezed mimosas available until they run out! Join this Saturday, Feb. 24th at 10:45 AM.

Girl Scout Cookies and BEER

Now if that’s not the best headline, we don’t know what is. On Saturday, Feb. 24th join Hough’s Taproom to celebrate National Girl Scout Cookie Weekend. They’re teaming up with some great breweries and the Girl Scouts for a Saturday of fun! Two flights to choose from (or go ahead and try both!) 21st Amendment and Brooklyn Brewery are bringing you the brews and they’ve paired them with our favorite cookies.
