Beer Events Happening This Weekend: Oct. 18th – 20th

It’s finally the weekend! Regardless of what part of the keystone state you live in, we’ve got your weekend plans covered. Here are some of the best beer related events coming up this weekend.

EASTERN PA

Newtown Brewing Grand Opening

As of this writing Newtown Township, Pennsylvania does not have a craft brewery. That all changes on Friday, October 18th when the Newtown Brewing Company opens in their 4,600 square foot brewery in the industrial park at 103 Penns Trail. Join them at 5:00 PM for their grand opening.

Oktoberfest at Bodega

Join La Cabra Brewing on Saturday, October 19th for Oktoberfest at the Bodega. They will be offering $3 pints of Oktoberfest & $5 bratwurst sandwiches all day! Grab a 3-pack of Crowlers for $30 and we’ll throw in an Oktoberfest tee-shirt too.

Artifact Brewing Grand Opening

Starting Friday, October 18th the craft beer community in Montgomery County Pennsylvania grows by one as Artifact Brewing opens their doors. The brewery will open at 5:00 PM on Friday at 2 S York Road in Hatboro.


CENTRAL PA

Sip at SoMa with South County Brewing

Join sip @ soma with South County Brewing on Friday October 18!  South County is bringing a select lineup of their beers on tap to sip @ soma for a limited tasting room experience in downtown Harrisburg!

SpringGate Pig Roast BBQ

Put some pork on your fork & join Spring Gate Brewing for their first annual Pig Roast! Enjoy pairing your choice of BBQ with a wide variety of their palatable libations. There is no ticket required, and everything is a la carte. Event takes place all weekend long.

Gears And Beers

Gears and Beers is Pour Man’s version of Cars & Coffee but with beer. Saturday, October 19th everyone who love cars and craft beer is invited to join them in their parking lot for a fun morning. This is open to any make or model, so get them shined up and bring them out! The brewery will also be releasing their Imperial Stout “10w30” this day too.


WESTERN PA

Millvale Music Harvest Festival

A Saturday Evening full of Music, Fire, Art, Pumpkins, Beer, Riverfront, Food Trucks, Fun, and More! Beers by Block House Pumpkin Ale, Iron City, Victory, & Troegs! Wine will also be available as well as Hot Chocolate and S’mores from Millvale’s Yetter’s Candy! Join the festival in Pittsburgh on Saturday, October 18th.

Dream Queen Can Release

Join Grist House Brewing in Pittsburgh on Saturday, October 19th at 2:00 pm for their latest can release! Dream Queen, Fruited Sour. This new, irresistible sour brewed with peach, mango, vanilla, and honey from Bedillion Honey Farms!

Foosball Tourny to Benefit American Cancer Society

Join All Saints Brewing in Greensburg for an event to support a great cause! $20 Person, Teammates will be randomly drawn. Registration goes from 5:00 – 6:00. Tournament runs from 6:00 – 10:00.  Food truck will be on site. Plus, All Saints Brewing Company will donate $1 from each beer sale during the event to the American Cancer Society!
