It’s finally the weekend, and a long one at that! Regardless of what part of the keystone state you live in, we’ve got your weekend plans covered. Here are some of the best beer related events coming up this weekend.
EASTERN PA
Oktoberfest At Forest And Main
Ambler’s Oktoberfest is a borough wide party and Forest And Main is holding down the northern front. They are excited to have chef Steve Waxman from Trax Restaurant and Cafe on site cooking up some delicious food. They will have a special can release and bands on stage in the new space. The party starts Saturday, October 6th at 11:30 AM.
Midtown Village Fall Festival
The Midtown Village Fall Festival attracts thousands of visitors in one day to experience a variety of activities including multiple stages of live entertainment, food and beverage sampling, merchant and vendor displays, crafters, children’s activities and more! Join the party in Philadelphia on Saturday, October 6th.
Reading Liederkranz Oktoberfest
The Reading Liederkranz is dedicated to the promotion of authentic German culture and tradition. Executive chef, Marlis Pritz will excite you with her fresh and creative dishes as well as her traditional German cooking. Plus beer from the areas top craft breweries! The party takes place Saturday, October 6th.
CENTRAL PA
ABC Oktoberfest
Join Appalachian Brewing Company at their Harrisburg location starting Friday, October 5th and running all weekend long for a special German style menu, seasonal beers, and live music and help them kick off their Oktoberfest celebration!
Sunday Funday Bottle Release At Zeroday
Mango Hab Royale will be available in bottles starting Sunday, October 7th at the Taproom. Bottles will be available for on site consumption, and to go. They are $14. There are just about 300ish bottles in the entire run. They are first come, first serve, sorry no reservations. There is no allotment outside of the 192oz rule per person per transaction.
Oktoberfest Bar & Happy Hour
Come celebrate Oktoberfest at Spring Gate Garden Vineyard and Brewery. All weekend long they a traditional Munich Oktoberfest feeling to their 60-acre farm. They will have their exclusive Oktoberfest Bar and Happy Hours all weekend long! Tickets will be $25 at the door.
WESTERN PA
TacoMania
Join Strange Roots at their Pittsburgh taproom on Sunday, October 7th for a one of a kind tacollaboration with some of the city’s best food trucks. You’ll get a chance to sample classic options from traditional taco trucks, as well as innovative takes on the genre from some unexpected food truck heavyweights.
Oktoberfest At Church Brew Works
Come to Church Brew Works and celebrate Oktoberfest with a special happy hour tapping all weekend long! There will be delicious german fare, over 60 kegs of beer tapped and oompah music. The party starts Friday and goes until close on Sunday night. Come celebrate!
Dogtoberfest 2018
Dogtoberfest IV takes place Saturday, October 6th from 5:00 – 8:00 PM at Erie Brewing Company. Donation includes unlimited beer sampling, a basket raffle, food, games, costume contest, and more! And of course this event is dog friendly so make sure to bring your four legged best friend.
