Brewery Review: Pour Man’s Brewing (Ephrata, PA)

Central PA’s latest brewery; Pour Man’s Brewing Co. recently opened in Ephrata, PA. We toured the location with partners Sam Son, Ryan Foltz and James Stauffer to bring you everything they have going on first hand. Pour Man’s is the result of years of home brewing between Sam and Ryan; who have decided to jump into the commercial beer industry.

Once a former butcher shop as well as consignment store, this 3,100 square feet brewery provides seating/ room for 49 guests. Located on South Reading Road, their location is conveniently close by to multiple restaurants that serve food directly to the brewery!

With 8 beers on tap Pour an’s is able to offer a wide variety of beer; during a recent visit of ours they had a strawberry blonde, traditional stout, saison, pale ale, IPA and others flowing through the lines. The beer will be brewed on their 1 barrel system with the goal to grow the brewing operation as the company grows. Helping with this growth will be the fact that they intend to get their beer into nearby bars as well.

Customers can trust that the brewers behind Pour Man’s will have a very positive impact on the Pennsylvania craft beer industry. After all, their beer is award winning. Beyond the award winning beer, the bar also offers a full drink menu, including local wines and spirits.
