Cellar Works Brewing Expanding To Second Location

Cellar Works Brewing (Sarver, PA) has announced its expansion with plans to open an additional location. We recently spoke with co-owner Tim Bauer to learn more about the details.

The brewery will be opening in the recently closed Cooper Station Restaurant at 352 N Pike Rd in Sarver (a short 2-mile drive from the main brewery). This location will also be close to the Lernerville Speedway. While the brewery has much to do on the renovation side of the location, they have big plans and a quick timeline with the expectation that all will be completed by late spring.

Cellar Works will utilize two buildings on the property, one as a restaurant and small event space, and one as a larger event space. The first building has a large bar, with seating for 45 people. They are expanding the tap lines which, in addition to Cellar Works beer, they will also offer taps for mead, cider, craft root beer, and other guest beer taps. This first building also has a large dining room with 85 seats. In addition, they will have a small event space with seating for 25 that also will double as a barrel-aging room.

On the restaurant side, Cellar Works has brought in Joe Strejcek (formerly of Sierra Nevada – Asheville and Salt of the Earth) who most recently was the executive chef at Lenape Golf Course. He will be creating a custom menu filled with a mix of pub food for the bar, as well as sit down dining. They will be sourcing local meat from Sarver, and you can expect a mix between burgers and charcuterie.

The second building on the property is going to be utilized as a large event space with seating for 150 people.

Tim further explained the location will have a large outdoor space as well. Plans are underway for a large outdoor patio with fire pits, games, and live music. Cellar Works is very excited to host community events as well, such as the local Octoberfest. There is even additional space on the property to place a coolship house and plant a large fruit orchard.

Keep up to date on all of the construction by following Cellar Works on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. And, of course, we will give you an inside look and tour of the new location as construction is finalized.
