Cinderlands Beer Co. Is Opening A Second Location

Cinderlands may be one of the newer kids on the block in Pittsburgh, but that isn’t stopping them from already expanding! If you’re not as familiar with who they are, check out our review of their brewery here. We’ve stopped in their brewery many times and each time there is so much to experience. Which is why it is exciting to see them grow their brand!

What was once known as the Spaghetti Warehouse in the Strip District will now become the second location for the Cinderlands Beer Company. This 17,000 sqaure foot space will house their new 15 bbl brewery allowing them to produce up to 2,400 bbl’s per year! The facility will house a large kitchen to accommodate the up to 300 guests that can fit inside. The kitchen will also come with it’s own indoor meat smoker! Two 16 tap bars will be onsite, one upstairs and the other on the main level serving directly from brite tanks.

The new, large space will also allow Cinderlands to offer an onsite quality lab and a beautiful outdoor beer garden. According to a recent Cinderlands blog about the space the “brewhouse and kitchen will be considerably larger, the space will include a barrel room.” If you’ve ever been to the original location the idea of them having more space for cooking may excite you almost as much as it does us. While the beer at Cinderlands is always enjoyable, what they do out of their kitchen in Lawrenceville is nothing short of amazing.

We recently toured the new space with co-owners Jamie and Joanna Warden. Construction was ongoing, but you can expect them to be open soon!

Cinderlands also goes on to say that by opening the new location, it will allow them to use the original spot as an incubator where they can experiment and try new ideas. As owner Jamie Warden states “[the] number one goal is to create an environment for you that is both contemporary and familiar, high quality and inventive, serious and fun, and nods to our past while embracing our future.”

As you can see, the new space is still under construction. But you can keep up with everything going on at their blog, Instagram, Twitter and/ or Facebook. We are excited to see this brand (and PA beer) continue to grow!
