Citing financial burdens from the COVID-19 pandemic, Crowded Castle Brewing Company (Phoenixville, PA) recently announced they would be closing their business in 2021.
The brewery announced the closure on Twitter in the following post:
The brewery originally opened in Phoenixville back in 2017. Originally the brainchild of the “W5 Homebrew Club”. A group of neighborhood homebrewers who, much like most homebrewers, loved getting together to make delicious beer.
After several years in business, they would go on to introduce a full food menu while also providing a unique drinking experience for the busy main street of Phoenixville.
If you are seeing this before their close of business in late July, you can stop by their taproom and purchase their beer, as the post says, at “going out of business prices”.
