Dock Street Brewing Company, a Philly brewing staple in the city since 1985, has released “Madam Vice President”.
“Madam Vice President” is a 4.5% ABV, 30 IBUs lager described as “a powerful, uplifting lager with a crisp, light, bready malt body, and significant aroma contributed primarily by Lotus hops.
The brewery used Lotus hops in honor of new Madam Vice President, Kamala Harris, whose name means “Lotus” in Sanskrit. She is the first woman, the first Black American, and the first Asian American Vice President in the history of the United States.
This beer will be on sale in late February, per the brewery, in 16oz cans and four-packs. Stay tuned for the release! $1 from every four-pack sale will be donated to Philabundance to cover meals.
