You may remember last year when Troegs had released a new spin on an old classic. Double Nugget Nectar was released as a brewery-only offering. After a widely popular and sought-after release, the beer was an instant classic.

So much so that Troegs has brought the beer back in 2022 but this time as a much more widely available option. While no official brewery release details have been announced there are several events planned throughout January of this year that will have the beer available on draft.

According to their events page, there are several Double Nugget Nectar “First Squeeze” events planned. The events range from Pittsburgh to Philadelphia and everywhere in between. The brewery even has events planned over the border in New Jersey.

This beer, clocking in at 9.5% ABV, is a jacked-up version of their ever-popular Nugget Nectar. A beer the brewery refers to as a super-fresh hop blended Imperial Amber Ale. An excessively dry-hopped explosion of pine, resin and mango.
