East End Brewing Company has teamed up with popular Pittsburgh sandwich restaurant Primanti Bros to release a pickle flavored craft beer, “Almost Famous Pickle Beer”.

This new beer makes its first debut on Thursday July 25th at 10:30 am at the Primanti Bros Market Square location downtown Pittsburgh. 16oz cans will be available there with specially designed labels, and later releasing at 4pm at East End’s brewpub in Larimer.

Almost Famous Pickle Beer is a 4.1% tart Gose ale, brewed with over 600 lbs of of cucumbers, coriander, and dill. This beer was brewed to give you everything you’d expect from a Primanti Bros pickle…except the crunch!

This beer comes a week ahead of the annual pickle festival in downtown Pittsburgh!
