On Friday, February 27, Yards Brewing Company in Philadelphia welcomed brewers and industry partners for a collaborative brew day to produce the official 2026 Craft Brewers Conference commemorative beer. The event brought together members of the local brewing community to celebrate craftsmanship and collaboration.

Each year, brewers from the Craft Brewers Conference host city join forces to create a distinctive, one-of-a-kind commemorative beer. The 2026 release — Of the Brewers. By the Brewers. For the Brewers. — is a 4.7% ABV pale lager brewed as a true industry-wide collaboration spanning every tier of the brewing community. Crafted as a single-malt, single-hop (SMaSH) lager, the beer is clean, focused, and intentionally simple, highlighting both the quality of its ingredients and the technical precision behind its execution.

The can design draws inspiration from Philadelphia’s revolutionary roots and rich brewing heritage. Its name underscores the spirit of craft brewing — shaped by its practitioners and sustained by its community. Created by brewers, for brewers, the beer is meant to be shared during one of the industry’s most important annual gatherings.

The Brewers of Pennsylvania trade association played a key role in bringing the project to life. Representing more than 100 member breweries, the organization works to promote, protect, and advance Pennsylvania’s craft beer industry.

For those unable to attend the conference, the commemorative beer will also be available on draft at Yards Brewing Company during CBC week, April 20–22, 2026.
