First Sip Brew Box Partners with HEARTH for 10th Annual Hops for HEARTH Event

First Sip Brew Box is partnering with HEARTH for their 10th annual Hops for Hearth event. Proceeds from the event will contribute towards helping homeless women and children, as HEARTH is the only facility-based transitional housing program for homeless women in Allegheny County.

This year the event will be held virtually on March 26th featuring First Sip Brew Box CEO, Dennis Guy, as the Emcee. General tickets for the event are $55 and attendees will receive a 4-pack of beer, an entry into door prize basket, access to a virtual beer tasting, a custom PGH Brewery Passport and a mini First Sip Brew Box filled with snacks to enjoy. VIP tickets are also available for $75 with the same perks as general tickets, a 6-pack of beer, and access to a VIP only early reception.

This event will be the first time First Sip Brew Box introduces a mini version of their larger subscription boxes. Hops for HEARTH gives everyone an opportunity to enjoy beer while helping make an impact for the HEARTH families.

“This is a cause that my wife and I fell in love with. HEARTH gives women and children the helping hand up that they need.” says Dennis Guy, CEO at First Sip Brew Box.

Dennis will also be making an appearance as judge for the 2021 Craft Beer Marketing Awards (CMBAs). Judging will take place over the course of March and April with the winner announced in May. The CMBAs focus on celebrating marketing success in the brewery industry. First Sip Brew Box is no stranger to the CMBAs as they accepted a Gold Crushie for Best Original Video Storytelling for their video “Fearless” this past summer. They will be using their storytelling skills once again to convey HEARTH’s message at Hops for HEARTH.
