Back in July, we brought you the news that Forest and Main would be moving and expanding to two new locations. The time has come for the Pub location to open! Starting on Tuesday, November 9th, at 4 PM, Forest and Main’s Pub will be open at 33 East Butler Ave.
Located in was once was the Ambler Skate Shop/Ambler Apparel, this new pub is about 1,000 sq/ft and has room for about 50 people. The space in total is 3 rooms and wide open (see the pictures below). There is seating for 12 at the bar, and there are 12 taps (including 3 side pull taps), as well as 3 hand pumps for cask beer. We have been told they will try to keep a couple of their original beers consistently on tap, such as Solare, their “house Saison”, and Kinch, the first IPA they ever made.
This location does not have a kitchen, however, snacks and small items will be available for purchase. The brewery will be encouraging ordering in from local Ambler restaurants, and possibly be getting food trucks.
The brewery is also in the process of building a 15bbl brewery and taproom just a few blocks north on Main Street (241 North Main Street) from their current location. Their increased capacity will allow them to make more of saisons, lots of oak-aged beers, pub beers, lagers, and lots of hoppy IPAs. This large production facility will have a bar, an outdoor deck, and space for events.
Make sure to follow Forest and Main on Facebook and Instagram to stay up to date on their beers and new pub.
