Imprint Beer Co. (Hatfield, PA) will be hosting the return of “Haze it Forward”, its annual charity event to benefit the ICU Division of Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.
Over the course of three days, from Friday, June 25th through Sunday, June 27th, Imprint will be serving beers from over 30 craft breweries. All pours will be on a donation basis, and all donations will go directly to CHOP. Local bands Merit and Am0ra will be playing sets, beginning Saturday at 8:00 PM.
Co-founder Richard Sidman says, “We’ve been patiently waiting for the pandemic to wane so that we can get back to our strong charity roots. When we asked our brewing friends to donate beers, they were uniformly excited to send us beers. We can’t wait to reveal the line-up of breweries.”
Merit makes their third visit to Imprint, following up on their keg banging performance for the inaugural Haze it Forward event, in 2019. Later that year, Merit returned to a packed house for an acoustic set performed on top of Imprint’s walk-in cooler. For this year’s event, Imprint and Merit collaborated on Schmoojee® Pop Punch!, a heavily fruited beer made with dragonfruit, sour cherries, mandarin oranges, pineapples, and hibiscus petals.
Opening for Merit is fellow local favorites, Am0ra, who will be debuting songs from their upcoming EP.
The event headlines Imprint’s ongoing Haze it Forward collaboration series. “We’ve been releasing hazy IPAs with some of the country’s best breweries, which will continue throughout the summer.” said Brendan Connelly, another co-founder. Imprint donates $1 per can for all Haze it Forward releases.
