Human Robot Unwraps Brand New Lager And It’s The Perfect Tailgating Beer

Human Robot, the Kensington, Philadelphia-based brewery has announced its newest beer release “Tin Hoagie”, a Philadelphia Light Lager.

This beer is sure to become a staple for tailgating and football Sundays, and Human Robot plans on keeping it in stock all season long!

At 4%, Tin Hoagie is an American light lager brewed with US-grown Pils malt and non-GMO corn. Brewed with a single decoction and natural carbonation, this beer has the same wonderful Hallertau mittelfruh aroma hops that Human Robot uses in their German-style lagers.

“We are season ticket holders and wanted to make a beer that all fans could enjoy as they unwrap their favorite tailgate Sammy. This light lager is made in the tradition of the neighborhood breweries that preceded us in the last century including Gretz, Schmidts, and Ortliebs. We are all lifelong Philadelphians and are happy to make a beer our Grandfathers would enjoy as the chant E A G L E S …Eagles!”, says Human Robot co-owner, Ken Correll

Human Robot head brewer Andrew Foss, has been hard-at-work perfecting this new light lager. This staple creation follows in the nostalgic Philadelphia neighborhood brewing tradition of Ortlieb’s and Schmidt’s, which were at one time located within walking distance of Human Robot.

Tin Hoagie is available in 16oz can 4-packs at just $12/4-pack at Human Robot’s taproom in Kensington. Tin Hoagie is only available on draft in the tasting room, nowhere else in the city!
