Truth Beer Company has announced they will close its Lancaster brewery this month, after over 3 years in business.
The brewery first opened in 2022 in Akron, with space for its brew house and small to-go spot. They then expanded on 2024 with a second location on Prince Street in Lancaster. Later in 2024, they would close their Akron location, and move all brewing operations next to their Lancaster taproom.
Truth Beer Company will be missed in the Lancaster craft beer scene, and guests have until Monday 12/22 to visit one last time to say goodbye.
Beer fans have something to look forward to however, as the announcement brings the news that the brewery and taproom were sold to friends who will be reopening the space with a new concept.

The post reads:
Truth Beer Co. will be closing our doors this month after almost 3 and a half years. As the owners, we have decided to sell the brewery and taproom space to one of our good friends, who will be retooling and reopening the space as his own concept in early 2026.
We want to thank our families and friends for their love and helping us realize the dream of opening TBC, all our loyal customers from our Akron days through the move to our Lancaster taproom for their support and also to particularly thank our friends @pourmansbrewing – Ryan and Sam.
We will be around the local beer scene, supporting our many great friends we have made in the Lancaster County Brewers’ Guild and beer scene over the past few years. We will miss the collab brew days!
This week and next we will have regular taproom hours, and then Monday 12/22 will be the final shift at TBC. We’d love to see everyone come through a final time, grab a TBC glass or one of our remaining t-shirts and say goodbye.
