Congratulations to Levity Brewing who officially hosts the grand opening of their Altoona taproom on Saturday, March 20th.
As we reported in the past, the brewery has been offering beer to-go in the converted old Chalk Box building on 11th Avenue in Altoona for the last several months. And now they officially welcome the public to come and enjoy a pint in the space.
The taproom opening is the first phase of the Altoona location. Levity is canning many of their beers in Indiana, and this store is a way to quickly start connecting with the Altoona community. The ultimate goal is to begin introducing brewing operations that will allow them to brew unique local beers for the community.
The brewery says they will be pouring fresh drafts starting at 2:00 PM on Saturday, March 20th. Levity also suggests for guests to visit Heritage Plaza right next door for live music from Willow Hill and more.
