Second Sin Introduces “Kolsch Service” On Thursdays, Starting July 21st

Second Sin Brewing Company has announced they will be starting “Kolsch Service”.

Recently several breweries in PA have adopted the traditional method of serving Kölsch in their taprooms, so called, “Kölsch Service”.  Kölsch is typically served in 0.2L glasses, called stanges, and originated from the German city of Cologne.

Beer fans will have their first chance to enjoy it on Thursday, July 21st. They’ll be continuing the service through 7/24, and then on every subsequent (non-event) Thursday, they’ll break out the stanges for Kölsch Service again, until you drink them dry of Kölsch!

How does Kölsch service work? For those that wish to partake in Kölsch Service, their beer will be served in this stange glass.  Once your glass is empty, bartenders will bring you another freshly poured, delicious Kölsch.  When you’ve drunk your fill, you simply put your coaster on top of your glass, and you can move onto other beers, or settle your tab.

The Bristol-based brewery is known for its wide variety of beers for any palate to enjoy – from traditional to experimental.  They’re especially know for fruited kettle sours and hazy IPAs, but they think classic styles deserve the same level of reverence.
